Our Programs

Ving Tsun Sito is a community-based nonprofit that offers healthy living programs centered on mentorship, life skills development, mind mastery and exercise grounded in the practice of Ving Tsun Kung Fu martial arts. All programs incorporate the fundamentals of forms, stances, hands and feet and Sum Faat, which aligns martial arts stances with 22 Chinese idioms reflective of ethics and real-life application. Programs are fee for service with income-based scholarships available to those who qualify.

Children learn the fundamentals of the Ving Tsun Sito system with exercises on Chinese calligraphy that align with the 22 Sum Faat idioms and relaxation methods to promote emotional self-regulation. The program is offered during out-of-school time hours, school vacations and weekends. Our middle/ high school program matches each teen with an adult mentor, provides career exposure sessions and life skills development workshops.

Ving Tsun Cultural Collaborative

Ving Tsun Cultural Collaborative aims to build and refine a digital library of teachings, documenting oral history, written texts and an exchange network to honor and preserve authentic traditional generational Kung Fu and Chinese culture. In partnership with the last two living grand masters of this ancient art – Peter Pajil and Doublas Lee and a distinguished council of masters, we will authenticate, chronical and preserve this precious art to pass it down to generations to come.

Street Smart Kung Fu

Street Smart Kung Fu is our disaster response program that was developed to counter the Anti-Asian sentiments that have led to a profound rise in hate motivated violence against the Asian community. The program is a two-part self-defense boot camp open to all ages and genders boosting confidence, dispelling fear and enhancing situational awareness. We couple this with resiliency workshops and mental health support referral services as needed. Participants receive protective devices informative materials with a resource booklet, access to virtual video refresher sessions and an SSKF shirt along with a certificate of completion.
